Sharpening Instructions, Classic Model
1) Insert the best fit washer for the blades center hole. See setup instructions
2) Insert the bolt through the washer's hole.
3) Insert the bolt through sharpening heads hole and screw on the knob finger tight.
5) Swing sharpening head with the blade over the rotating sharpening disk.
4) Turn on the machine
6) The sharpening head is spring loaded and tilts until blade contacts the sharpening disc. Hold steady and watch the blade rotate during sharpening. Do not add downward pressure.
7) Turn off the machine, swing the sharpening head out and turn the blade over to sharpen the other side.
8) Sharpen each side of the blade only one time letting the blade fully rotate at least one to two times.
Ultra Sharp Process
1) After using the diamond disc, follow the same process as you did on the diamond abrasive except now use the ultra-fine abrasive ring to hone the edge even sharper.
2) Sharpen each side of the blade letting the blade fully rotate at least one to two times.
