1. The unit comes pre-assembled with the abrasive already installed.
2. Swing the sharpening head out when installing your blade onto the sharpening head.
3. Select the washer that creates the tightest fit for the blades center hole and insert it into the hole
4. Insert the bolt through
the washer's hole while it is positioned in the blades hole
5. Insert the bolt with the washer and blade up-through the sharpening head's hole and screw the knob on finger tight
